Presented by Imbibe Magazine and Campari, Negroni Week launched in 2013 as a celebration of one of the world’s great cocktails and an effort to raise money for charitable causes around the world.
From June 1-7, bars and restaurants around the world are mixing up their favorite Negroni variations and donation $1 or more of the proceeds to a charity of their choice.
At The National, we call our Negroni of choice “Negroni Perfecto”. It’s a balanced take on the Negroni with Anchor Junipero gin, two types of Basque vermouth–Manuel Acha vermouth blanco y rojo, Campari, and house bitters. We’re shaking it up to benefit Nuçi’s Space alongside our sister restaurant Seabear Oyster Bar – home of the Negroni Slushy.
From 2013 to 2014, Negroni Week grew from more than 100 participating bars to more than 1,300 participating bars around the world and more than $120,000 raised for charities.
