Some of the South’s favorite chefs are getting out of the kitchen and into the country for the 4th Annual Southern Chefs Potluck, a casual Sunday supper benefiting Wholesome Wave Georgia.
This event is always a favorite of ours, and we are thrilled to be participating alongside Hugh Acheson and many other talented Southern chefs.
For the fourth time, guests to the potluck will dine family style with the chefs and their families on the pastoral grounds of the Inn at Serenbe. In addition to food and fellowship, the event will feature local beer, wine and cocktails created by renowned mixologists and a live auction for unforgettable culinary experiences. Last year’s event raised more than $50,000 for Wholesome Wave Georgia, translating to more than $100,000 in fresh food for Georgia Nutrition Assistance Recipients and for local farmers.
Each chef contributes a Sunday supper side along with homemade pickles, relishes and desserts to be shared. The chefs’ creations will be served alongside White Oaks Pastures meats from Jim N’ Nicks Bar-B-Q.
Tickets begin at $125 per person, with host level tickets available for $500 for two tickets including prime seating, a listing in the program and a signed apron from the participating chefs or $1,000 for four tickets including prime seating, a listing in the program and two signed aprons. You can also bid in the silent auction for one-of-a-kind culinary experiences. The funds raised will benefit Wholesome Wave Georgia and its mission to increase access to fresh, healthy, locally-grown food at producer-only farmers markets in the state of Georgia.
