The Seventh Annual Harvest Moon Dinner is just around the corner! This special annual dinner was created as an intimate meal to support the mission of the Athens Land Trust and to celebrate the landscapes of the community with great local food and wine…for a great cause! This year, the Athens Land Trust is excited to host the Harvest Moon Dinner on October 11th on the 5-acre Williams Farm, located 1.5 miles from downtown Athens. This farm-fresh dinner is brought to you by Chef Peter Dale of The National and Seabear Oyster Bar. Acquired by the Trust in 2013, the Williams Farm has been a working farm for several generations and includes a beautiful Certified Naturally Grown urban farm, a recently renovated large farmhouse built in 1929-30, and several barns and historic outbuildings. The purchase of the Williams family farm represents a huge step in expanding the Trust’s mission to build community through agriculture.
