beautiful local produce abounds at The National these days… tomatoes, squash blossoms, cucumbers, onions, potatoes, zucchini, green beans, beets, mustard greens, basil, peppers, eggplant, even more tomatoes… not to mention fresh shrimp from Savannah, dairy from Johnston Family Farm, and the beautiful flowers from Madison County around the restaurant.. without a doubt, summer is a good time to be in Athens.
The National at AthFest
Come see us at our tent on Washington Street near the main stage this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We’ll have fish tacos, hummus, cold gazpacho and pomegranate-limeade to energize and refresh.
Athens Urban Ministries Benefit
10% of brunch sales in the month of June are being donated to Athens Urban Ministries. They provide assistance to the hungry, homeless and working poor in our community through a variety of programs including Our Daily Bread. This Sunday, June 25th, is your last chance for your Sunday brunch to support this great organization.
Speaking of Sunday Brunch…
Bloody Mary’s are now $5 at brunch, after 12:30, of course.
